The Thrill of It
I love to work with wood. There is something so preoccupying about the hands-on, mechanical, mathematical and engineering aspects of putting pieces of wood together to make something. The more “artsy” pieces are a fusion of function and form, of geometric and organic shapes — often with inclusions of glass, rock or metal. I try to use native hardwoods as much as possible.
